Make Small Coin Pusher

La Muela - The Birth

official Spring entered Andalusia for less than a week although for some real change does not start until you change the time, actually more than one had fallen asleep because of this change, which took place at dawn on Sunday and suitable out a little later.

We were going to La Muela, a small village nestled at the foot of Snake Valley, whose origin dates from 1601 when it was founded the Carmelite Convent Juncal , now largely in ruins, there is only a few traces.

With an hour less sleep a day and we headed to unbeatable Algodonales , after breakfast at the crossroads Zahara de la Sierra got into the village of La Muela .

After passing the little village a mile and find an information panel that leads to Recreation Area La Muela , the area gives a good overview of the Sierra de Sand , known by villagers as "Mogote" .

Mound
isolated, conical shape and terminating in blunt, hence the name of "Mogote" which is called as usual. Its terrain is rugged, with lots of rocky cliffs and steep slopes on its slopes, while in turn above is presented as a long plateau with gentle slopes to a peak around 1051 m. altitude.

The Sand Mountains are located northwest of the province of Cádiz marks the boundary between the western countryside of Andalusia depression and Grazalema Natural Park, this being embraced by the rivers and Guadalete Guadalporcún in flow within several underground courses, which form sources for a total of twelve.

; front of us the Tajo de Cueva Morena, after rising a couple of miles to the pergola we track the trailhead, the route runs along the north side of the Sierra of Sand , we ascended the dark side, we enjoyed the scenic attraction that Valley Viper gave us.

The Golden Girls , welcome and Rosa Elena , we are very pleased to have with us.

After passing through a gate change understory vegetation on the lower bearing, spring you gave us their first fruits, on the way we watched the strange figures that for one reason or another had taken the rocks due to erosion of the year, some reminded us "Moai" , existing figures on the Island Easter in Chile .
