The Wild Thornberrys Game

Manage your time Looking for a new challenge

Do you think your life is monotonous?

Faust was a boy of 25 years living in a beautiful English city, a university student with a very quiet life and envied by many people. Had a group of friends who came often, a family that loved and with whom he had good relationship, a home with that lived with her parents and siblings, and activities both sporting and leisure to which came regularly for several days a week had already been for years. The university gave him the opportunity to go abroad scholarship and live a set of experiences that he himself would be able to imagine before leave.
The host country was completely different from yours. Culture, language, people and many others had nothing to do with what he knew. Early in his stay he saw the going out and doing a lousy black and white photocopy of an incredible challenge for the simple fact of not knowing how to communicate just as with those people. Each new day was a day completely mysterious, never knew for sure what would happen, what new things would find and what new and interesting people would know.

Over the weeks Faust was adjusted to its new home . He knew that his stay would not last more than a year but was completely drawn to that and every day trying to find out more and more, posing new challenges and absorbing all these people and this country were willing to offer. Fausto spent considerable time enjoyed full freedom. He lived alone in an apartment he had paid the college scholarship, he met a girl who was also on the study tour country and Hungarian nationality, whose name was Sofia. They had fallen in love with each other and doing life together as any couple.
Faust and Sophia had much in common, many other things which could unite them most was the fact of living in a country so different from theirs and that both were passionate.

Time passed faster than that Faust would have liked. He wore behind a series of life experiences imaginable, gave the impression of having lived in 10 months experiences in his life together and even wanted to see her family and friends, began to be strongly integrated into the life he had built with Sofia in the country so exotic. From time to each in their country of origin, they decided it was time to say farewell but not goodbye forever. The goodbye was almost mandatory, since both had to finish their careers in their home countries but wanted to leave the door open to future.

Faust arrived in Spain very happy and very happy to see again all those people who had not seen 365 days. As the hours passed, the days and weeks as Fausto saw everything was as it had completely stopped. Stop living again only to return to his room in the home of his parents, although the city was identical little nuances ... same traffic, same noise, same color ... Leaving out those different and magical city in which he lived. His
Friends talks continued with time, sometimes entertaining but mostly boring and single-issue ... Where were those with very different mentalities that had been learned and interested in topics as varied as?
The schedule of sports activities had not changed one iota, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 19:00 to 21 : 00 am and knew I had to go do, leaving the note and called the discovery of new activities than they do.

Fausto was getting a bit bleak. Sofia missed his smile, his zest for life new experiences and your company. His mind kept telling himself "I'm tired of this shit." For Fausto his life was monotonous, predictable activities, get to make a photocopy was no challenge, weary and blinkered friends, his freedom limited by the living together with his family and "halt vital" something that galled him deeply inside.

We can see in the story of Faust something that commonly happens to all those who have the opportunity to challenge themselves and circumstances of life they do not.
Most of us have been very sad moments when we longed times best, but those times were better, they were, by circumstances that we have not stopped to think.
Fausto For a comparison between his life abroad and life in Spain was overwhelming, and it was because the challenges posed to live alone, facing the street and the language, meet people so different and live with a person as incredible as it was Sofia, getting him to be happy.

Man needs constant challenges of varying intensity depending on the person, because they manage to turn it a part of the brain that makes us feel good, makes us feel productive and useful in this life, and one of the most important factors for self-esteem (write soon on this) is that at the end of the day and went to bed, we feel that this day has been special and a day in which we have learned something new, we have new things, met new people and at the end and after one day that makes you feel that we are doing as individuals.

The solution for Fausto and what we should ask ourselves is it really all I have challenges in my life? "Down with my friends a little challenging for me? Whether to go to my gym for a lifetime to do the same activity year after year is a challenge for me? Do "business as usual is a challenge for me?

is not a challenge for you. Get new goals to achieve, including some that pose a difficult challenge ... Then and only then, you'll notice how your life off of the monotony and makes you feel more fulfilled and wanting more for yourself.
