Cake Stands And Various Heights

XI Congress of Digital Journalism (Huesca)

Is Web journalism the future of our profession?
what extent it is considered thorough information found on the Internet?

These and other questions are what have been addressed in the XI Congress of Digital Journalism held in Huesca 11 and 12 March. More than 300 journalists have participated in these sessions in the Congress Palace of Huesca capital. Journalists, Mara Torres de La 2, ABC Alfonso Armada, Ramon Lobo of the country or Montserrat Domínguez Cadena Ser, which was responsible for closing the conference.

It is precisely at this closing ceremony to which I refer. In an article that reflects what happened on this day, we are told that Montserrat Dominguez, in his speech, made reference to the digital world in particular addressing Twitter as a way to not journalism and bloggers ( "You have something to say, how to count and add a touch of grace or spark ). On the other hand, has launched an inquiry that I find interesting debate:

"Who said that journalism is dead?"

question that the journalist in Madrid has said that, although print journalism as we know, it's dying, journalism itself is not dead, but is True, there are some newspapers that are dying and that there are journalists who are 'dead' and do not know ".

What do you think? Do you agree with it? Do you think that digital media are eating it more and more land to the print newspaper? Do you consider Twitter as a form of journalism? Do you think that journalism is dead or still alive despite the fact that, currently, is considered one of the worst professions views?

I have not found the video of the presentation, but once you find it, I'll upload. In case you want to read, here are the articles that speak of the "no death of journalism" and intervention Montserrat Domínguez.
