"Twilight": good or bad literature?
The book series "Twilight" (Twilight), written by Stephenie Meyer, has had a worldwide hit. The novels have been translated into over 37 languages \u200b\u200band has sold over 25 million copies, not to mention the success we have had the movies, (and if not they should ask the actors, who on his arrival in airports are greeted by dozens of girls of 13 or 14 years shouting phrases like bite me!). But in reality, these books deserve such a huge success? Is it good literature?.
In the dictionary of the English Royal Academy is a very meaningful definition of the word best seller, "Literary Work great success and great sales. "That's all." refers to a large sale of a book, not how it is written and the author. The best sellers are not necessarily bad literature. Some are really good, such as "What the Wind "by Margaret Mitchell or" One Hundred Years of Solitude, García Márquez, but the truth is that Meyer's books are far from living up to this kind of novels. Literature, "whose function is to entertain or make us think?. The Twilight fans can defend the idea that this saga entertains "hooked", but in reality, good literature should do both: "hook" and also make you think, offer different forms of knowledge.
In my opinion, the books "Twilight" are easy to read novels that do not require a great deal of concentration to the reader, and of course, are perfect for shooting the films because they have too much content. While it is true that some parts may be entertaining, the four books are not very well written (and very poorly translated), the story revolves around a few characters being straw and everything else in general, the thread novel does not take unexpected directions and events are predictable.
Stephen King, one of the most famous writers the horror and suspense, appears to be very much agree with Meyer's narrative. The author of novels like "The Shining" or "Rita and accountability Haywort Shawshank" said the following in an interview to the newspaper "USA Today":
" People are attracted by the stories by rhythm, and in the case of Meyer's clear she writes for a generation of teenage girls who look like their eyes open the safe of love and sex in these books. "
The author also compared Meyer to JK Rowling, author of "Harry Potter"
" The two, Rowling and Meyer are aimed directly at young people. The real difference is that Rowling is a fantastic writer and Stephenie Meyer can not write anything worthwhile. It is not very good."

Can You Get A Hemroid On Your Taint
Kicking back: Kick Ass Trivia advertising
I've seen in college Kick Ass comic adaptation of Mark Millar and Romita Jr. (two in their respective positions) y. .. WOW.
The adaptation is very good. It takes some liberties forgivable, which are noted, but did not bother anything. The first half of the film is stuck to the comic. It is in the second section changes.
shots, blood, limb severed and much gunpowder.
has many amusing details: Dave watching their films, full of plates: I am Wolverine. Mindy with coletitas entering the building the bad guys I've lost Daddy and Mommy. " Kick Ass Red Mist and dancing in the "mobile Mist." And many who are spoiler.
THE SOUNDTRACK IS GREAT. He hits a lot, are perfectly chosen and placed. The more rock, of course, will more action scenes and stick together as if they were born.
ACTORS. There are four characters is perfect and then Nicolas Cage.
First, Dave, played by Aaron Johnson it seems to be so basted like his character. Although more cutie, hits the paper.
If we talk about greased with Christopher Mintz-Plasse plays, who plays Chris D'Amico, Red Mist. Habla "Azi, as a bit Rado." It's so silly and funny as in the comic. In the end, has a scene that looks great Machiavellian. Chloe Moretz plays
Mindy Macready, Hit Girl, and has gone from giving voice to a series of Winnie the Pooh to drive an automatic as many New York cops would like. In the movie say "I love me" "It's a bit young" "Anyway, I will reserve for her." Well, more or less. Mindy is the combination perfect tenderness and sadism Hello Kitty Jack the Ripper. It's super-cute. As in the comic.
Mark Strong (due out in Green Lantern) plays Frank D'Amico, a mobster into drugs and bad things. Neither seems physically, but I found his performance very believable.
And finally, Big Daddy. My thing with Nicolas Cage is unsurpassed. I'm not cool, it seemed over-acted. Of course, as in Ghost Rider that you are lucky you got to see little fronted. The final scene of the character itself molado me.
I dislike:
What goes on between Dave and Katie. That totally changes history. In the movie looks good, but not convinced.
The special effects are not particularly good, despite the redundancy. Are false.
Like:
The sadism of the film, although it is moderate on the comic. Music. And the gift that charge over the Internet.
Conclusion:
very glad I left college. The action scenes are very lively and not boring at all the footage.
has some left over and other things added very good (the final battle). I do not pay the outstanding problem of the effects and Nicolas Cage. A 8.
